I had not had the chance to visit the Asylum Lake Preserve when the Biro family told me they wanted to have their family session there. It is like stepping through a wardrobe and into Narnia. This place is GORGEOUS. I cannot believe it is in the middle of Kalamazoo!

I had so much fun wandering the grounds, getting to know each member of the family, including grandma! Leslie and Mike told me about their dating days and how they would hike through this preserve with their pup (who you will see in the slideshow). I caught myself smiling when looking through their pictures this week as I remembered their stories and the silliness that ensued during our afternoon together.

THANK YOU for the endless laughter! I wish I could go back to that day and hang out with you all over again.
